another ideal date with mr. m last night. dinner, dancing, fun conversation, lots of laughs. the only problem is this. we have now made it past the third date. and last night was the first night we held hands. i like a boy that's polite, but please don't be so polite that you won't take me home at the end of the night and make out with me on the couch. pretty please. hoping for second base by the end of the week.

i met a boy. we are reading the same book. or we would be reading the same book if it were in any of the bookstores and i didn't have to order it and wait impatiently for my infinite summer to begin.

so last night we had our first date. we talked about books and movies and music. but rather than a conversation, it felt more like i was interviewing him for an article i'm writing on men who can talk to girls, but just need someone else to lead the conversation. i guess this is what i get for being into boys who are into books.

Boy Bartender

I’m recently back in the game after an 11 week self enforced hiatus from flirting/hooking up of any sort with guys. First night out was a success. Exchanged numbers with 1 boy I hope to be writing about in the next few weeks – but as of now he doesn’t count. Who does count is the Boston born and raised bartender - yeah he's got that boston accent and attitude to boot. Don’t know his actual age, but am sure he fits in to the boy category. In my typical fashion there was nothing subtle about the way I picked up this 6ft4in skinny white boy and got a ride home. And a ride in bed. This is a bartender I’ve flirted mildly with before but never had the opportunity to actually put anything into action. I am expecting that I’ll see him a couple more times before things fizzle out. Sex was good, but I had to laugh and tell him to shut up when he said he was going to ‘tear through’ the normal size condoms. Yeah he might be in proportion (he is Very Tall) but come on. Overall a very fun evening.

mr. right now

the best thing about dating multiple men, or should i say one of the best things, is that while one boy might be saying and doing all the WRONG things, there is always at least one boy who is saying and doing all the RIGHT things. if you are only dating one boy, you might be tempted to excuse his inappropriate behavior. but when you have a fine selection of boys to choose from, there is no need to settle.

let this be a lesson for you boys. always be a gentleman and always treat the girl you are dating at least as well as you treat your friends. if not, some other boy will. and that boy, might just be smarter, funnier and better looking.

I wish I was a little bit taller...

So this boy is only 5'4". Whenever I see him I just want to put him in my pocket. He likes to suck my top lip a little hard, making my lip the size of a balloon but he is learning. I guess there are some you still have to teach....good thing he's always been a good student. I give 2 thumbs up to Mr. Doctor.

stranger danger

it feels weird adding an actual date to the list. since most of the time i'm just making out with 23 year olds. movie, dinner and a walk through the park. ending in a respectful end of the night peck. it's almost like i'm a grown up or something.

nonetheless, i will probably have nightmares thanks to these sculptures of giant disembodied baby heads.
